I completely get this feeling. I too have had the same sentiments. Fortunately, I realized early that I was talking to the older version of me – my Dad. I learned to be an entrepreneur form my Dad. I learned to be polite and even refined from my Mom. I learned business completely from my Dad. A lesson I can never thank him enough for – it probably is the single most defining thing he taught me. I also have learned that I am not a very good solo entrepreneur. I had a business partner, who was also my best friend, who died after 25 years together. Now I’m struggling to rebuild a business that collapsed. We’re surviving and prospering but small with little hope of growing at the moment. I have not figured out how to fix that in myself yet. But knowing I’m not alone is something that has helped me many times and expect it will continue to do so.
